Realizing that ensuring safety in production is one of the important factors determining the sustainable development of the enterprise, in recent times, along with focusing on investing in innovation of advanced and modern production lines to increase product value, enhance competitiveness, the company has always paid attention to implementing occupational safety and health, fire prevention, and improving working conditions for employees.

Therefore, all stages from the design stage to the finished product stage are equipped with modern machinery and equipment. In particular, Hoa Tho - Dong Ha Garment Company always focuses on the safety of machinery and equipment, performs periodic inspection and maintenance to improve productivity, product quality, save materials and reduce negative impacts on the environment such as dust, waste, and noise.

Every year, the company organizes training courses, coaching, and fostering new knowledge in the field of occupational safety and health for workers; widely disseminates regulations and rules on occupational safety and health, dangerous and toxic factors that can cause work accidents, occupational diseases, and preventive measures.

In addition, organizing regular health check-ups, improving the quality of shift meals, creating a good working environment, allocating reasonable working and resting regimes for employees are always of concern... Thanks to focusing on ensuring occupational safety and health, the company has not had any incidents in production and business.

Chairman of the Trade Union of VRG Quang Tri MDF Wood Joint Stock Company Nguyen Minh Hung said that the company has more than 470 employees. In recent times, along with focusing on applying many technical improvement measures to improve labor productivity, VRG Quang Tri MDF Wood Joint Stock Company has always paid attention to ensuring occupational safety and health.

Every year, the company provides protective gear for each department working at the factory... At the same time, it coordinates with specialized agencies to organize training on occupational safety and health, first aid, emergency, fire prevention and fighting, and emergency drills to be ready to handle any incidents that may occur. During the daily production process at the factory, the inspection team always inspects and supervises occupational safety and health.

In the province, there are currently 3,419 operating enterprises out of a total of 3,470 registered enterprises, with a total registered capital of more than 68,873 billion VND, creating jobs for more than 55,000 workers.

In recent times, the work of ensuring occupational safety and health at enterprises in the province has had positive changes. Many enterprises are interested in promoting training and practice activities to raise awareness of occupational safety and health for workers; implementing measures to improve working conditions; organizing health check-ups and occupational diseases for workers.

In particular, businesses have focused on self-inspection and monitoring to promptly detect safety risks in order to develop prevention plans at the production site; regularly remind and advise workers to strictly comply with regulations and safe production processes, especially the use of machinery and equipment with strict requirements on occupational safety and health...

However, in the work of ensuring occupational safety and health in some enterprises, there are still limitations such as: not having developed an occupational safety and health plan; not having inspected or declared machinery and equipment with strict requirements on occupational safety and health but still putting them into use or having equipment whose inspection has expired and has not been re-inspected.

Well-implemented occupational safety and health will contribute significantly to attracting workers, developing production and business, and creating competitive advantages for enterprises. To limit risks related to occupational safety and health, enterprises, production and business establishments need to regularly review and supplement regulations and operating procedures for machines and equipment with strict requirements on occupational safety and health; constantly improve working conditions and environment for employees to limit and prevent occupational accidents and diseases.

Carry out self-inspection of occupational safety and health at the unit to promptly detect and prevent possible occupational safety risks; fully implement policies and regulations for employees, especially policies and regulations related to occupational safety and health...

Relevant departments and branches continue to closely coordinate and strengthen inspection and examination of the implementation of occupational safety and health regulations at enterprises, production and business establishments, especially in areas with potential risks of occupational accidents; strictly handle violations of the provisions of the Law on Occupational Safety and Health; strengthen propaganda and guidance on the implementation of the Law on Occupational Safety and Health for employees and employers.
