Growing business team
According to the Provincial People's Committee, in the context of the whole country in general, Vinh Long province in particular has to face many difficulties and challenges. However, with the determined efforts and consensus of the Party Committee, the government, the solidarity and unity of all classes of people, including enterprises, the province's socio-economic situation has achieved positive results. In that common success, there is a significant contribution from the business community and the business community, especially young entrepreneurs.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Lu Quang Ngoi said that the province currently has more than 3,300 enterprises. The enterprise sector contributes about 38% of GRDP and accounts for 15.07% of the total number of employees working in the province. Of which, nearly 60% of enterprises have young people holding leadership and management positions. The production and business activities of enterprises have contributed to promoting economic growth, contributing to the total domestic income, creating jobs and increasing income for workers, creating a large source of revenue for the state budget, contributing to the completion of socio-economic targets and social security programs in the locality.
According to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, in the economic field, many young people are proactive and pioneers on the path of starting a business, organizing jobs for themselves and creating jobs for society, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province and the country. Among them, many young entrepreneurs are dynamic and creative, quickly grasp science and technology, and bring out products with high technological and intellectual content. This has affirmed the maturity, role and potential of the young business force in the socio-economic development of the locality.
Meanwhile, up to now, Vinh Long has had 5 district-level business associations established with 319 members participating and continuing to increase, striving to establish 8/8 district-level business associations. Thereby contributing to strongly promoting the spirit of solidarity, towards sustainable development... According to Mr. Nguyen Tuong Nam - Chairman of the Provincial Business Association, the establishment of district-level business associations will gradually affirm and continuously enhance the position in the business community, creating an effective bridge between enterprises, enterprises with Party committees, authorities and other organizations. At the same time, protecting the legitimate rights of members...
Ms. Le Truc My - President of Vinh Long City Business Association, said that the association will be an organization that gathers the strength of the city's business community, and will be a bridge for economic cooperation between member businesses. Thereby, gradually improving the business capacity and competitiveness of businesses in the integrated and developed economy.
Accompanying the province for sustainable development
According to Mr. Nguyen Tan Thu - Chairman of the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association, in the coming time, the quality and diversity of activities will be continuously improved. Continue to strengthen the implementation of service activities that bring practical benefits to members, accompany members to overcome the economic crisis, improve competitiveness, help member enterprises stand firm and develop sustainably in international integration, especially when Vietnam has deeply integrated into the international economy. At the same time, we will actively participate in community-oriented activities, building the image of young entrepreneurs in the integration period who are both creative, dynamic, creating wealth for society and responsible to the community.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Doan - Director of Mobifone Vinh Long province, shared that a stable and sustainable developing enterprise must always take social security work as a measure of the value and unique culture of the enterprise.
In the global development trend - green trend, the province has had green and sustainable development orientations in the coming time, assessing the role of the current business community, Mr. Nguyen Tuong Nam said, the role of the business community and the business community in promoting sustainable development is very important. Enterprises participating in green transformation, creating sustainable benefits for the community in terms of culture, society and environment, "Net Zero" (zero carbon emissions) has become an urgent requirement of sustainable development.
