In March and April, businesses maintained good jobs for workers. Many businesses signed orders until 2024 and are organizing overtime for workers.
On the afternoon of April 24, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) held a conference between the Provincial Federation of Labor and FDI enterprises in Thanh Hoa on the implementation of labor regimes, policies, laws, labor relations and trade union activities at enterprises.

As of April 20, 2024, 36 FDI enterprises had 159,683 employees. In March and April, enterprises maintained good employment for employees, many enterprises signed orders until the end of 2024 and are organizing overtime for employees.
Specifically, 27/36 enterprises organized overtime, of which 8/27 enterprises organized overtime of 0.5 - 1.5 hours/day; 19/27 enterprises organized overtime of 2 - 3.5 hours on some days of the week. 100% of enterprises paid salaries, meal allowances, attendance allowances, gasoline allowances and other allowances to workers and laborers on time. The average income of employees was 7,716,000 VND/person/month, an increase of 1,126,000 VND compared to the reporting period of February 2024.

100% of companies have paid social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance to the social insurance agency on time and paid full sick leave and maternity benefits to employees. The total number of employees of the companies who have paid social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance is 152,171 people, reaching 95.3%; the remaining 7,509 people, accounting for 4.7%, have not participated in social insurance because they are new to the company.

At the conference, representatives of enterprises, grassroots trade unions and grassroots trade unions reflected on a number of difficulties and obstacles in implementing labor regimes, policies and laws and resolving problems related to labor relations in FDI enterprises.

Organize emulation movements to increase productivity, quality and efficiency in production and business; achieve outstanding results in implementing the Resolutions of the Trade Union Congresses at all levels. Direct grassroots trade unions to coordinate with enterprises to organize labor conferences and dialogue conferences at the workplace; strengthen negotiations and sign collective labor agreements.
