Transport company in Da Nang fined 60 million VND by Quang Nam, vehicle badge revoked

DNO - A transport company headquartered in Hoa Vang district was fined 60 million VND by the Chairman of the People's Committee of Dien Ban town ( Quang Nam ), had its vehicle badge revoked, and its vehicle registration certificate temporarily withheld for applying for a license to operate on one route, but instead allowed a tractor-trailer to use another route.

On April 18, the Office of the People's Committee of Dien Ban Town, Quang Nam Province, announced that the Chairman of the People's Committee of Dien Ban Town had just signed a decision to administratively fine Son Phu An Transport Company Limited, headquartered in Tuy Loan Dong 2 Village, Hoa Phong Commune, Hoa Vang District, 60 million VND for violating the route specified in the Circulation License.

Additional penalty: revocation of the right to use the badge of the tractor-trailer with license plate 43C-063.02 for a period of 2 years from the effective date of the penalty decision. This transport company also had its car registration certificate and the badge of the tractor-trailer temporarily withheld to ensure the enforcement of the penalty decision.

According to the People's Committee of Dien Ban town, this transport company was fined for handing over the vehicle, the tractor with license plate 43C-063.02 pulling a semi-trailer with license plate 43R-019.32 to the employee who drove the vehicle, committing a violation of the provisions at Point c, Clause 4, Article 33 of Decree No. 100/2019/ND-CP dated December 30, 2019, amended and supplemented by Decree No. 123/2021/ND-CP dated December 28, 2021 of the Government .

At the same time, driving a vehicle with a valid license but not on the route specified in the license.

Violations are subject to fines of VND 28 million to VND 32 million for individuals and VND 56 million to VND 64 million for organizations that are owners of cars, tractors, specialized motorbikes and similar vehicles when handing over the vehicle or allowing employees or representatives to operate the vehicle to commit violations.

The penalty decision requires the company director, Mr. Nguyen Duc Son, to strictly comply with this penalty decision within 10 days from the date of receipt of the decision.

After the above deadline, if Son Phu An Transport Company Limited does not pay this fine, it will be subject to enforcement and for each day of late payment, the violating organization must pay an additional 0.05% of the total unpaid fine.

It is known that, according to the Traffic Safety Committee of Quang Nam province, recently, to avoid the toll station on the northern Quang Nam road, many vehicles often travel through DH8 road and then turn back to National Highway 1A via Nam Ky Khoi Nghia road ( Da Nang area).

In particular, on the DH8 route connecting National Highway 1A and Road DT607 (in Dien Ban town, Quang Nam province), trucks over 3.5 tons are prohibited from 6-8 am and 6-8 pm every day. However, heavy-duty vehicles (trucks, container trucks, tankers, tractors) still defy the regulations and blatantly enter, causing potential traffic accidents.
