"When I received my salary as chairman while working in a hotel in Khanh Hoa, instead of taking him to see the beach, I took Ms. Thuy Tien (now his wife) to the emergency room of Khanh Hoa Hospital. Every time I got my salary, I often came here and asked which doctor needed help so I could help.
There was one case I will never forget. That night, a family from Buon Ma Thuot brought a patient to the hospital for emergency treatment. The doctor there told the ambulance to take the patient straight to Cho Ray Hospital to save him.
I agreed to help immediately. A month later, the father came to thank me for saving his son.
Since then, I have focused on charity work. Now I am 73 years old, retired, and have given her everything so I can do charity work," he said happily.

"I am a son of Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa. Wherever I go in the world , I always think of my homeland and my compatriots. I would like to contribute another 3 billion VND so that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province can quickly help people in need. Please take care of me, Chairman," he said.
