Revenue from 1 billion VND/household/year must use electronic invoices generated from cash registers

- Implementing Decree No. 70/2025/ND-CP, currently, the Tax Department of Region VII - Tuyen Quang province is promoting the deployment of electronic invoices from cash registers to households and businesses in the area before the mandatory deadline of June 1.

The Tax Department in Tuyen Quang province is actively deploying electronic invoices from cash registers to households and businesses before the mandatory deadline of June 1, 2025.

Accordingly, the subjects required to use electronic invoices generated from cash registers when selling goods and providing services include: Business households and business individuals (stipulated in Clause 1, Article 51, Law on Tax Administration No. 38/2019/QH14) with annual revenue of 1 billion VND or more; Enterprises with activities of selling goods and providing services, including selling goods and providing services directly to consumers such as shopping malls; supermarkets; retail (except for cars, motorbikes, motorbikes and other motor vehicles); food and beverage establishments; restaurants; hotels; passenger transport services, direct support services for road transport; art services, entertainment, recreation, cinema activities; other personal services according to regulations on the Vietnamese Economic Sector System.

Since the beginning of the year, 230 households and individuals in the province have implemented electronic invoices generated from cash registers. To raise taxpayers' awareness of law compliance, the Tax Department in Tuyen Quang province is actively coordinating with districts and cities to promote propaganda and dissemination of regulations on the use of electronic invoices for households and individuals in business; coordinating with relevant departments, branches and agencies to share and connect information and databases related to the management of households and individuals in business, synchronizing and standardizing to manage taxes closely to the actual business situation in the area, preventing loss of revenue to the state budget.
