Hoi An Special Forces Team launches book "Immortal Hearts"

(QNO) - On the morning of May 15, in Hoi An City, the Hoi An Special Forces Liaison Committee organized the launch of the book "Immortal Hearts".

Speaking at the launching ceremony, a representative of the Hoi An Special Forces Liaison Committee said that the Hoi An Special Forces was established and has been operating in enemy territory in Hoi An since 1964.

Until today, many people, especially the young generation in the locality, still do not know about the activities and battles of the Hoi An Special Forces. Therefore, after a period of gathering and editing, the book "Immortal Hearts" was completed and released.

In this book, in addition to the content about each member of the Hoi An special forces team being recreated in general, the book also presents historical content, witnesses who lived and fought for the independence and freedom of the nation through emotional stories.

The book highlights the glorious historical milestones of the Hoi An Special Forces; presents the yearbook of the Hoi An Special Forces officers and soldiers; some memories of the feats of the Hoi An Special Forces; the Hoi An Special Forces in the eyes of journalists and writers; some poems and songs written by artists about the Hoi An Special Forces.

On this occasion, members of the Hoi An Special Forces recalled the heroic memories of fighting, going through life and death battles that left the enemy bewildered and terrified during the resistance war against America.

The Hoi An Special Forces currently has 22 survivors. In addition, 11 people have died and have been recognized as martyrs by the State; 29 people have died of illness since the country's liberation.
