Inspection team of business establishments
Temporarily hold the quantity of Meiji products that have not provided invoices and documents
From April 28 to now, the inspection team has inspected 15 establishments selling medicines, health protection foods, nutritional products (milk), and cosmetics. As a result, 1 pharmaceutical business was handled for violations; 7 dairy product businesses were invited to provide quality declaration documents and invoices. Of the 7 establishments visited, 3 Meiji product businesses were unable to provide invoices and documents to prove the origin, so 25 boxes of products were temporarily detained. In addition, the team inspected 11 private medical examination and treatment facilities using traditional medicine, but no violations were detected.
The inspections aim to assess the origin, source, and quality of drugs, cosmetics, and goods at the inspected facilities; strengthen the fight against smuggling, trade fraud, production and trading of counterfeit and poor-quality goods; and compliance with food safety regulations at facilities producing and trading health protection foods and nutritional food products (in the form of powdered milk) according to decrees, laws, and circulars. At the same time, through the inspections, we aim to proactively and promptly prevent, detect, correct, and strictly handle violations of the law.
