Speaking in thanks, Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc (Head of the Organizing Committee of the Funeral and Memorial Service for Comrade Tran Duc Luong at Thong Nhat Hall) said that the funeral of Comrade Tran Duc Luong received the infinite condolences of leaders, former leaders, comrades and people.

At the Reunification Hall (HCMC), there were 428 delegations with more than 3,600 visitors coming to pay their respects. On behalf of the Organizing Committee, the Chairman of the HCMC People's Committee thanked the leaders, former leaders of the Party, the State, HCMC, ministries, branches; provinces, cities, diplomatic agencies, international organizations... who sent letters, telegrams of condolences, sent wreaths, and came to pay their respects to comrade Tran Duc Luong at the Reunification Hall.
In the solemn atmosphere at the Reunification Hall, watching the memorial service for formerPresident Tran Duc Luong on the screen, many delegates were moved and could not hold back their tears at the passing of comrade Tran Duc Luong.
Former Vice President Truong My Hoa and former Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh choked up and wiped away tears as they bid farewell to former President Tran Duc Luong.

Emotionally watching the memorial service for comrade Tran Duc Luong on the screen, delegate Dang Nguyen Kieu Vy (a youth from District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) expressed her infinite sorrow for former President Tran Duc Luong. The passing of the former President is a great loss to our Party, State and people.
"I believe that the values that Uncle Ho left behind, from personality to career, will forever be an example for future generations to follow.
