
Attending the ceremony, on the side of Nghe An province, there were also comrades: Phan Duc Dong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee, Chairman of Vinh City People's Council; Nguyen Van De - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Thi Hong Hoa - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Commission and leaders of the departments: Foreign Affairs, Agriculture and Rural Development, Natural Resources and Environment, Culture - Sports and Tourism; Office of the National Assembly Delegation and Provincial People's Council.
On the side of the Vietnamese Embassy, there were comrades: Vu Quang Minh - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Federal Republic of Germany; Duong Hoai Nam - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Czech Republic.
On the side of the Overseas Vietnamese Association, there were Mr. Hoang Dinh Thang - President of the Union of Vietnamese Associations in Europe; Mr. Tran Van Dung - President of the Nghe An Association in Germany and many overseas Vietnamese.

The ceremony, chaired by the Nghe An Association in Germany, is a meaningful activity, expressing the sacred feelings and deep gratitude of the Vietnamese community in Germany in general and the people of Nghe An in particular towards President Ho Chi Minh - the great leader of the nation.
At the ceremony, Mr. Tran Van Dung - Chairman of the Nghe An Association in Germany reviewed the outstanding contributions to the revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh and the feelings of overseas Vietnamese towards Uncle Ho. He affirmed that the ceremony is one of the evidences expressing the sacred feelings, deep gratitude, and steadfast belief of the Vietnamese community in Europe in general and Nghe An overseas Vietnamese in Germany in particular in celebrating the birthday of beloved Uncle Ho.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ambassador Vu Quang Minh emphasized that the organization of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday in Germany is even more meaningful in the context of Vietnam and Germany aiming to celebrate the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations (September 23, 1975 - September 23, 2025). The Ambassador highly appreciated the connecting role of the overseas Vietnamese community, including the Nghe An Association, in strengthening the friendship and people-to-people cooperation between the two countries in general and Nghe An province with the Federal Republic of Germany in particular.
On behalf of the Party Committee, government and people of Nghe An province, comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu expressed his emotion when attending this meaningful ceremony. He highly appreciated the role and contribution of the Nghe An Association in Germany in preserving cultural traditions, uniting the community and especially the connecting role in promoting investment, trade, tourism and people-to-people diplomacy of the province with Germany.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council affirmed that Nghe An province always respects the sentiments and contributions of overseas Vietnamese to their homeland, and at the same time hopes that they will continue to preserve national identity, comply with the laws of the host country, develop a sustainable economy and turn towards their homeland.

In recognition of the positive contributions of the overseas Vietnamese community in Germany, at the ceremony, 10 individuals of the Nghe An Association in Germany were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee. Ambassador Vu Quang Minh also presented a Certificate of Merit from the Vietnamese Embassy in Germany to the Nghe An Association for their contributions to community work and promoting the image of their homeland.
