On the morning of May 23, the Chau Thanh District Military Service Council held a conference to review the work of selecting and calling citizens to join the army; performing the obligation to join the People's Public Security in 2025. Rewarding collectives and individuals with achievements in participating in the selection and calling of citizens for military service.

In order to select and call citizens to join the army in 2025, the Military Service Council of Chau Thanh district has directed communes and towns to focus on reviewing, grasping and making a list of young people of military service age. The work of registration, resource management; political and policy review; health examination; and discussion work are carried out seriously, in accordance with procedures, democratically and publicly. As a result, Chau Thanh district achieved 100% of the military recruitment target, meeting health standards, young people with technical expertise accounted for 33.3%, there were 23 young people who were reserve party members...

Speaking at the Conference, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee, Chairman of the Chau Thanh District Military Service Council Nguyen Thi Phuong Lan acknowledged and commended the coordination and collaboration between agencies, units and localities that have contributed to the excellent completion of the task of selecting and calling citizens to join the army in 2025. The District Military Service Council has proactively advised the District Party Committee and the District People's Committee to thoroughly grasp the task of selecting and calling citizens to join the army. At the same time, it has carried out propaganda work well and fully implemented the steps in the process of selecting and calling citizens to join the army on time, democratically, publicly, fairly, legally and safely.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Chau Thanh district commended 7 collectives and 39 individuals with good achievements in participating in the selection and calling of citizens to join the army in 2025.
