An Tuc Commune summarizes the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses

An Tuc is one of the five communes of the People's Armed Forces, a particularly disadvantaged commune of Tri Ton district, with about 70% of the population being Khmer ethnic minorities; the rate of poor and near-poor households accounts for 26.2% of the population. The whole commune has 190 households with housing difficulties, of which 185 households are eligible for support to build new houses and repair houses from the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses (71 newly built houses, 16 repaired houses).

Presenting symbolic housing plaques to households

Specifically, poor and near-poor households benefiting from the two national target programs are 98 households; other poor and near-poor households are 87. Each newly built house has an area of ​​32 - 48m2; level 4 structure, corrugated iron roof, walls, tiled floors, and a toilet. Construction costs range from 65 - 160 million VND. The State budget and social mobilization support 60 million VND/house, the rest is contributed by the family. Repaired houses are supported 30 million VND/house. To date, the commune has completed 185 houses, reaching 100% of the plan.

Reward individuals and groups with outstanding achievements

On this occasion, the People's Committee of An Tuc commune awarded 2 groups and 27 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. At the same time, they presented decisions, symbolic plaques and gifts to 20 typical households receiving houses.
