People of Kien Thiet commune (Yen Son) received free medical consultation and treatment.
At the program, the delegation examined, provided free medicine and gave gifts to 2 households: Mrs. Ma Thi Duong, wife of a martyr, Dong Khan village and Mr. La Van Binh, 3rd class disabled soldier, Lang Ap village.
On this occasion, the units presented 300 gifts to policy households, Agent Orange victims, poor and near-poor households, and the elderly; examined and distributed more than 300 units of medicine to people in Kien Thiet commune. The total value was nearly 160 million VND.
Leaders of the Provincial Military Command and the Provincial Red Cross Society presented gifts to people of Kien Thiet commune (Yen Son).
This is the 8th year that the Provincial Military Command has coordinated with the Provincial Red Cross to organize a program to demonstrate the morality of “When drinking water, remember its source”, “Repaying gratitude”, the affection and responsibility of the Army towards policy families, ethnic minorities, and ethnic minorities in extremely difficult areas. At the same time, the program “Combining military and civilian medicine” has been promoted to contribute to protecting and caring for community health, improving people's lives.
