
Immediately after receiving reports that many households were affected by rising floodwaters, with some people trapped in deeply flooded areas, the Fire and Rescue Team of Area 5 mobilized vehicles and 23 officers and soldiers to quickly arrive at the scene, coordinating with local authorities and the commune/ward police force to organize rescue operations.

The rescue forces assisted in moving 100 people to safety and directly rescued 38 people trapped in areas with strong currents. They also helped residents move their belongings and essential items out of the dangerous areas.

This afternoon (October 31st), upon receiving news that a mother and her two children were trapped in their home due to flooding in Thang Loi village (Ham Thang ward), the Fire and Rescue Team of Area 5 dispatched 7 officers and soldiers to the scene to rescue the mother and her children from the flooded area and bring them to safety.

Thanks to timely guidance, a high sense of responsibility, and seamless coordination among forces, rescue operations were conducted safely and effectively, without any loss of life.

Given the complex weather situation, the officers and soldiers of the Firefighting and Rescue Team of Area 5 continue to be on standby, with forces and equipment ready to promptly respond to any natural disasters or incidents that may occur.
