Innovation in advisory work of Central Party agencies and Provincial and City Party Committees

Attending the event were Comrade Lai Xuan Mon, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, Chairman of the Science Council of the Central Party agencies, along with representatives of leaders of the Central Party agencies, Nhan Dan Newspaper, the Central Theoretical Council, the Central Council of Theoretical and Criticism of Literature and Arts, the National Political Publishing House Truth, leaders of a number of Party committees of the Provincial and Municipal Party Committees directly under the Central Government; experts and scientists.

Comrade Lai Xuan Mon, member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, Chairman of the Scientific Council of Central Party Agencies spoke at the workshop.

Speaking at the Workshop, Comrade Lai Xuan Mon hoped that delegates, experts and scientists would focus on clarifying the following contents: Forecasting the country's development situation until 2030, with a vision to 2045, and issues and tasks for the advisory work of Party agencies at the Central level and at provincial/municipal Party Committees directly under the Central Government. Orientations and solutions to innovate the advisory work of Party agencies at the Central level and at provincial and municipal Party Committees directly under the Central Government in organizing the implementation of the Party's policies and guidelines to meet the requirements of national development until 2030, with a vision to 2045.

The presentations and opinions at the workshop focused on analyzing and clarifying issues such as: affirming the position and especially important role as well as improving the quality of advisory work of Party committees and agencies at the Central level and at Provincial and Municipal Party Committees directly under the Central level over 40 years of renovation; emphasizing the need to raise the level, innovate and improve the quality of advisory work in the new situation to help the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo , the Secretariat and help Provincial and Municipal Party Committees promulgate and successfully implement policies and guidelines for renovation and development of the country and localities.

Many leaders of some Party committees of Provincial and Municipal Party Committees directly under the Central Government, experts and scientists attended the workshop.

The workshop proposed a number of solutions such as: Unifying and raising awareness of the position and especially important role of staff work, especially strategic staff work, which is organically linked to the leadership and governing role of the Party, directly contributing to improving the leadership capacity, governing capacity, fighting strength and the overall purity and strength of the Party; strengthening the leadership of Party committees at all levels over the staff work of Party committees and agencies at the Central level and in provincial and municipal Party Committees directly under the Central Government.

Recommend that the Secretariat promptly issue and lead the implementation of the Directive on Strengthening the Party's leadership over political theory and science activities to serve the advisory work of Party committees and agencies at the Central level and at the Provincial and Municipal Party Committees directly under the Central Government to meet the requirements of the new situation.

Continue to innovate consulting methods, perfect the organizational model and apparatus, review and perfect consulting functions, tasks and linkage mechanisms; promote the role of the Scientific Council of Central Party agencies in connecting and promoting the capacity and combined strength in the consulting work of the Central Party agencies and departments and consulting agencies of the Provincial and Municipal Party Committees.

Comrade Lai Xuan Mon presented gifts to the Standing Committee of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provincial Party Committee.

The workshop received 34 presentations from scientists, leaders of Party departments and agencies at the central and local levels. The presentations all demonstrated enthusiasm, responsibility and high scientific quality.
