Mr. Trump said Taylor Swift "will never" support Mr. Biden for election, amid speculation that the President's campaign wants to enlist the singer's support.
"I signed and am responsible for the Music Modernization Act for Taylor Swift and all music artists . Joe Biden did nothing for Taylor and never will," former US President Donald Trump posted on social network Truth Social on February 11.
Mr Trump's post referred to the 2018 law he signed addressing copyright issues, which was seen as a turning point for the music industry.
"There's no way she could support Crooked Joe Biden, the worst and most corrupt President in the history of our Country, and betray the man who has made her so much money," Trump added. "Also, I like her boyfriend, Travis, even though he may be a liberal and can't stand me!"

Travis Kelce, the NFL superstar, is Taylor Swift's boyfriend. When they went public with their relationship, some conservative media outlets promoted a conspiracy theory that it was a stunt to get Taylor to perform at the Super Bowl, Travis to win, and then both to support Biden's reelection. They provided no basis for this theory.
Hours after Mr. Trump's post, Travis' Kansas City Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers to win the Super Bowl.
Questions about the singer’s political views arose last month after The New York Times reported that Biden’s aides were seeking her endorsement ahead of the November presidential election. The campaign has made several proposals to enlist Swift, including having Biden attend her concerts.
The singer has not yet endorsed Mr. Biden in this year's election, but did so in the 2020 election. Taylor Swift's support is believed to have a significant impact on President Biden's support. A post on Swift's Instagram last year is said to have prompted 35,000 new voter registrations among young Americans.
