On the afternoon of July 9, the Standing Committee of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee held a meeting to assign tasks to those in charge of the Gia Lai (old) area. The meeting was held in person at the Provincial Party Committee's online meeting room and online to 77 communes and wards in Gia Lai (old) province.
Comrade Ho Quoc Dung, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee attended and directed the conference.
After the merger, the new Gia Lai province has a natural area of more than 21,550km², the second largest in the country (after the new Lam Dong province), with a population of about 3.5 million people. The political and administrative center of the new province is located in Quy Nhon. The area is large, moving to the administrative center takes a lot of time, so the formation of the second facility is based on actual conditions with the goal of solving work as quickly, best, and most effectively as possible for people and businesses.
Based on the agreement of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, at the conference, comrade Ho Quoc Dung assigned the task to comrade Chau Ngoc Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation to be in charge of base 2 (77 communes and wards of the former Gia Lai province).

Comrade Ho Quoc Dung emphasized that the second facility is a new model , so during the operation period, we will work and learn from experience, if there are any problems or overlaps, we will continue to adjust. Requiring the responsible staff to be flexible, closely follow and grasp the facility, in the immediate future, the Provincial Party Secretary requested Comrade Chau Ngoc Tuan to closely coordinate with the Provincial People's Committee and the sectors to develop working regulations, ensuring that the departments at the second facility have enough authority to quickly and effectively resolve tasks right at the assigned location.
Speaking at the reception of the mission, comrade Chau Ngoc Tuan said that he had spent time working and understanding the old Gia Lai land, so there were certain advantages in the management, however, the upcoming workload was quite large, with new points. “Personally, on behalf of 77 commune and ward party committees and departments and branches, I will cooperate, contribute, and successfully carry out the assigned political tasks. Forming the second base is to work, grasp the work, advise leaders, and direct, so all cadres and party members implement the motto "3 days working at the office, 2 days going to the base", the goal is to be the fastest and most concise", comrade Chau Ngoc Tuan emphasized.
