International visitors flock to watch fireworks festival, Da Nang hotel rooms are full

The Organizing Committee of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2025 said that during the DIFF final tonight, July 12, the number of guests served by accommodation establishments in Da Nang City reached nearly 98,000, an increase of 6.4% over the same period in 2024.

Of which, international visitors increased dramatically by 81%, domestic visitors increased by 18% compared to the same period in 2024 (excluding transient and non-staying visitors from neighboring localities).

Therefore, hotels in the coastal areas of Da Nang and the city center are almost fully booked with a capacity of nearly 100%. This also coincides with the data provided by Da Nang International Airport, the total number of domestic and international flights during the DIFF 2025 finals exceeded the record of 2024.

Accordingly, on the occasion of the DIFF 2024 final, Da Nang City welcomed 159 flights, an increase of 30-40% compared to weekdays. On July 11, 2025 (1 day before the DIFF final), the number of flights increased to 171, an increase of 14% compared to the estimated average frequency of July 2025 and an increase of 40% compared to the first 6 months of 2025.

DIFF 2025 takes place from May 31 to July 12 with a total of 6 performances on Saturday. Of the 10 qualifying teams, the Organizing Committee has selected the Chinese team and the Vietnamese team 2 (represented by Z121 Vina Pyrotech - Chemical Company 21, General Department of Defense Industry, Ministry of National Defense ) to enter the final round, competing tonight, July 12.
