The whole village burst into happiness.

"Ten years ago, when I and the Lo Lo people in the village started developing tourism, there were many uncertainties and difficulties, moments of joy and tears. But last night, when the whole village officially heard the news that Lo Lo Chai had become the world's best tourist village in 2025, we were overwhelmed with happiness and excitement. The sweat and tears of those days have now yielded results," Mr. Sinh Di Gai, head of Lo Lo Chai village (Lung Cu commune, Tuyen Quang province), shared with VietNamNet reporters .

Mr. Sinh Di Gai was also a pioneer in opening homestays in Lo Lo Chai since 2011.

"By 2015, when my family's homestay business was successful, I started encouraging villagers to participate in tourism . In 2017-2018, several more homestays appeared in the village, and the number increased significantly around 2022. To date, 56 out of 120 households in the village operate homestays, while the rest run restaurants, cafes, herbal bath services, and engage in livestock farming and crop cultivation to provide clean food," Mr. Gai proudly stated.

According to the village head, many households in Lo Lo Chai have now successfully escaped poverty and become successful entrepreneurs thanks to tourism, buying cars, investing in their children's education, and so on.

Currently, Lo Lo Chai village has about 40 traditional houses, most of which are repurposed as homestays. Each homestay is decorated in a traditional style. Ancient artifacts of the Lo Lo people are also displayed in the rooms, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere.
