(Continuously updated...)

On December 13th, the SEA Games 33 medal standings continued to demonstrate the strength of the Vietnamese sports delegation, placing them among the leading group with 110 medals (30 gold, 27 silver, and 53 bronze).
The Vietnamese delegation maintained a steady pace of competition in many key sports such as athletics and martial arts, contributing to their high ranking in the overall standings.

At the top, host nation Thailand still dominates with a total of 188 medals, notably 94 gold medals – more than double the number won by the other delegations. Thailand's strength is particularly evident in martial arts, as well as traditional sports.
Despite the significant gap between the two teams in total gold medals, the Vietnamese delegation lost second place to the Indonesian delegation. With six days of competition remaining, the Vietnamese delegation still has the opportunity to increase its number of gold medals and even challenge the overall ranking if it performs well in its strongest events.
