Female athlete makes an impression at the Tien Phong Half Marathon for a special reason.

The Tien Phong Half Marathon, held today in Van Phuc Urban Area (Ho Chi Minh City), witnessed an impressive performance by athlete Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lan.

Overcoming numerous competitors, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lan finished first in the women's 10km race. Immediately afterwards, she competed in the women's 5km race and finished second. Sharing her thoughts after crossing the finish line, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lan said: "The weather today was quite nice, so running the 10km race felt too short. I decided to run an additional 5km and still felt energetic."

Happy with her achievement, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lan believes that the cool weather and flat course were factors that helped her finish early and achieve a high result. "In the near future, I will register to participate in the 67th Tien Phong Newspaper National Marathon and Long Distance Championship - 2026 in Khanh Hoa ," Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lan said.

The inaugural Tien Phong Half Marathon attracted nearly 2,000 athletes competing in the 5 km, 10 km, and 21 km distances. The athletes were divided into five age groups: 16-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 years and older, providing an opportunity for runners of all ages to challenge themselves.
