SEA Games 33 Medal Standings today, December 13th
(Continuously updated...)

The SEA Games 33 medal standings as of December 12th show a strong breakthrough for the Vietnamese sports delegation. With the series of gold medals won today, Vietnam has risen to second place overall with 24 gold medals, 17 silver medals, and 43 bronze medals, bringing the total to 84 medals.

This is a significant step forward as we have surpassed Indonesia (72 medals) and are now only behind host nation Thailand – who are leading with 65 gold medals.
Vietnam's success comes from many sports, most notably swimming, with Nguyen Quang Thuan setting a SEA Games record in the 400m individual medley and Nguyen Huy Hoang's impressive victory in the 1,500m freestyle.
This momentum gives the Vietnamese team a significant advantage in the final stages, opening up opportunities to narrow the gap with Thailand in the remaining days.
