After two days of official competition at the 33rd SEA Games, host nation Thailand is leading with 41 gold medals, 24 silver medals, and 14 bronze medals. Thailand has won a total of 79 medals at the 33rd SEA Games.
Thai athletes won 23 gold medals on December 11-12, 3 more than on the first day. This shows the consistent performance of the Thai athletes.
It is predicted that today, December 12th, athletes from the Thai delegation will continue to win many medals and leave the other delegations far behind.
The Vietnamese sports delegation is currently ranked second with 14 gold medals, 8 silver medals, and 27 bronze medals. On December 11-12, Vietnamese athletes performed exceptionally well and won 10 gold medals.
On December 12th, Vietnamese athletes are expected to win more gold medals to consolidate their second-place position, which is being closely pursued by Indonesia.
Indonesia is ranked third in the overall medal standings. The Indonesian team currently holds a total of 13 gold medals, 20 silver medals, and 13 bronze medals.
The Singapore sports delegation, with 9 gold medals, 10 silver medals, and 13 bronze medals, is currently ranked fourth.
