In the far North of the country, the world's best cultural tourism village Lo Lo Chai (Lung Cu commune, Tuyen Quang) has become bustling these days as tourists continuously flock to experience local culture.

To preserve the pristine beauty and build a safe tourism environment, Lung Cu commune authorities have implemented many synchronous measures, from establishing a tourism village management team to increasing inter-sectoral forces to each village and hamlet to inspect and guide people to improve services.

These methods contribute to improving service quality, creating peace of mind for tourists and preserving the unique identity of the land in the northernmost part of the Fatherland.

Mr. Ma Doan Khanh, Vice Chairman of Lung Cu Commune People's Committee, said that on November 6, the Commune People's Committee issued Decision No. 447/QD-UBND on the establishment of a Management Team for construction, conservation and development of the tourist village for the period 2025-2030.

The team consists of 19 members with forces such as: Commune Police, Lung Cu Border Guard Station, Regional Market Management Team, Medical Station, local authorities... with the task of managing construction activities, supervising service business, guiding people to preserve identity and develop sustainable community tourism.

Immediately after its establishment, the People's Committee of Lung Cu commune issued a notice requiring service businesses, homestays and restaurants to fully complete operating conditions according to regulations such as food safety, fire prevention and fighting, environmental sanitation, signs, business registration procedures and commitment to posting prices.

The implementation deadline is widely announced to each village to create consensus and transparency in the implementation process.

Recently, the tourist village management team has regularly coordinated to inspect, grasp the situation, propagate and guide people to comply with regulations on accommodation, security and order, price management and food safety.

In addition to surprise inspections, the forces also organized many direct working sessions in Lo Lo Chai village, helping people complete documents, renovate facilities, rearrange processing areas, sanitation and emergency exits according to standards.

Mr. Ma Doan Khanh emphasized that the establishment of the Group aims to unify a management focal point, strengthen coordination between sectors and support people in standardizing services.

The commune's goal is to build Lo Lo Chai into a typical, friendly, professional tourist village, ensuring security, environment and civilization in welcoming guests. Many businesses proactively improved the quality of service after the inspection.

Ms. Vang Thi Xuyen, owner of Hien Xuyen Restaurant-Homestay, said that the facility welcomes hundreds of guests every month. Through the guidance of the Team and the authorities, we review the entire food processing process, kitchen areas and storage. When we follow the regulations, customers feel more secure and the facility operates more systematically.

Mr. Tran Xuan Hanh, owner of Homestay Pasu in Lo Lo Chai, shared, "The team and the forces checked carefully but also supported enthusiastically. We supplemented the accommodation records, publicly listed prices, and renovated the rooms and restrooms according to instructions. After receiving the recommendations, the homestay operated more orderly, and guests also appreciated the service attitude."

Increased inspection by the tourist village management team helps maintain order, prevent violations, stop price gouging and customer solicitation, and ensure a fair business environment.

Thanks to the synchronous coordination, people feel secure in developing services, and tourists feel safe and comfortable when coming to Lung Cu.

In addition to service quality, the commune focuses on preserving the cultural identity of the Lo Lo ethnic group such as rammed earth house architecture, traditional costumes, handicrafts, festivals and folk arts. Many experiential activities such as bronze drum performances, indigenous arts, daily life tours, etc. are maintained by households to serve tourists. In the coming time, the tourism village management team will continue to coordinate with forces and villages to strengthen propaganda and conduct periodic inspections; guide people to build a civilized and safe tourism environment; and develop more unique tourism products.

These efforts contribute to making Lung Cu - the northernmost point of the country - a friendly and attractive destination for domestic and foreign tourists…/.
