Speaking at the working session with project investors in the De Gi lagoon area, comrade Thai Dai Ngoc, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee affirmed: "The three floating urban and tourism service projects in the south, center and north of De Gi lagoon are not just simple construction projects but are important milestones in the socio-economic development strategy, modern urban areas and high-end superyacht tourism industry of the province".
The three projects are invested by Arque Degi Joint Stock Company, with a total area of over 570 hectares and a total investment capital of nearly VND 8,555 billion. The project includes outstanding items such as: Superyacht floating villas, luxury resorts, green parks, modern traffic and technical infrastructure systems. In particular, the participation of international investors such as: Palmer Johnson Inc. (Monaco) and FS Finance Suisse AG (Switzerland) has affirmed the international stature of the project.
“We expect the project to attract billionaires, politicians , European and Middle Eastern royalty and the world's top stars to come to Gia Lai for vacation, thereby enhancing the province's position on the international tourism map,” the Gia Lai Provincial Party Secretary emphasized.
To ensure the project's progress, the provincial leaders requested the immediate establishment of a Project Support Working Group, directly led by a leader of the Provincial People's Committee. Departments, branches and localities must coordinate closely to remove all difficulties in administrative procedures, site clearance and construction permits in the spirit of "Overcoming procedures to achieve great goals".
Also in the morning, Gia Lai provincial leaders continued to work with Blooming Sky Co., Ltd. (Korea) to implement the project "Cultural, sports , entertainment, recreation area combined with trade, services, and tourism 1" in Cat Tien commune. The project has a total area of 308.2 hectares, a total investment of more than VND 2,599 billion, aiming to build a multifunctional complex including a 27-hole golf course, a 3-star hotel or higher, a cultural and artistic center, a sports area, a marina, and high-class tourism services.
Speaking at the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Thai Dai Ngoc emphasized: "The project needs to become a model of Vietnam-Korea cultural exchange, a cultural and artistic center of Asian stature, a place to organize festivals, professional sports tournaments and diverse cultural experiences."
Similar to projects at De Gi lagoon, Gia Lai province is committed to accompanying investors, applying the "fastest and best" administrative procedure settlement mechanism, establishing a Working Group to support the project and creating a safe, transparent and effective investment environment.
During both working sessions, representatives of investors expressed their commitment to implementing the project with international standards, modern technology, ensuring environmental factors and sustainable development; at the same time, enterprises also performed a noble act of donating support to Gia Lai people affected by the recent storm No. 13, demonstrating social responsibility and admirable corporate culture.
With strategic vision, high political determination and the participation of prestigious international investors, high-end urban and tourism projects in De Gi lagoon and Cat Tien are expected to be important highlights, contributing to positioning Gia Lai as a dynamic, modern and attractive growth pole on the global tourism and investment map.
