Technical traffic opening of Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 section through Tay Ninh before December 19

On the morning of July 12, Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh and his delegation conducted a field survey and listened to a progress report on the Ring Road 3 project at the intersection with Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong Expressway and Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway, through My Yen Commune, Tay Ninh Province.

After surveying the site and listening to the progress report, Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh requested the completion and technical opening of the Ring Road 3 section through Tay Ninh before December 19.

Currently, the site clearance work for this section has been 100% completed, the resettlement area has been completed and all plots of land have been handed over to affected households, the 3 main packages of the project are being constructed simultaneously, reaching about 78% of the construction volume. Regarding the disbursement progress, so far it has only reached more than 20% compared to the capital plan for 2025.

It is expected that the main roadbed will be completed with crushed stone before August 31, the asphalt pavement will be paved by the end of September and the technical traffic will be opened by the end of October 2025. The bridge section will complete the beam launching and concrete pouring in August, then asphalt and railing installation in September. The intersections with the two expressways Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong and Ben Luc - Long Thanh will also be constructed synchronously, with the same progress schedule of foundation completion at the end of August, asphalt pavement at the end of September and technical traffic opening before October 31.

The Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project, the 6.8km section through Tay Ninh, includes two component projects with a total investment of VND4,208 billion, of which construction costs are VND3,040 billion and site clearance and resettlement costs are more than VND1,160 billion.
