On the afternoon of October 16, Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo 's decision on the transfer and appointment of comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet - alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030 from October 16, 2025, replacing comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung, who was recently transferred and appointed by the Politburo to be Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee.

Speaking at the conference, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Organization Committee Le Minh Hung emphasized: Comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet is a well-trained cadre, matured from the grassroots, has held many working positions, has capacity and experience in Party building and State management, is close to the grassroots, and has the ability to gather and unite in agencies and units.
