Comrade Mua A Vang continued to be elected by consultation to hold the position of Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Bien province.

The comrades were elected to join the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Bien province, term 14, 2025-2030, introduced to the Congress.

Attending and directing the Congress were comrade Ha Thi Nga, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front ; comrade Tran Tien Dung, Secretary of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, and leaders and former leaders of Dien Bien province through the periods.

Speaking at the congress, comrade Mua A Vang, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Bien province, 13th term, affirmed: The 14th Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front is an important political event, a wide-ranging activity among all classes of people, and at the same time the first Congress of the new organizational model after the arrangement and consolidation according to the 2-level local government model.

The Congress is an opportunity for the Fatherland Front at two levels of Dien Bien province to look back on the glorious past, be proud of the achievements, and at the same time arouse the belief, will and aspiration of the people of all ethnic groups in the province, together towards the era of prosperous development of the nation and build Dien Bien province to develop green, smart and sustainable; striving to become a fairly developed province in the region by 2030.

During the past term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the province has made continuous efforts to overcome difficulties and excellently completed all aspects of work; the great national unity bloc has been increasingly consolidated, expanded and strongly promoted; patriotic emulation movements and campaigns have increasingly gone into depth, spread widely, and become practical revolutionary action movements of all classes of people.

Typically, in the movement "Join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide in 2025", as of June 20, 2025, the whole province has completed the construction of 835 solidarity houses with a total implementation cost of 87.67 billion VND.

Through the "For the Poor" Fund, more than 83 billion VND has been received to renovate and repair 1,322 houses for poor households; support 27 households to buy seedlings, 6 households to buy animal breeds, 1,338 students from poor households to go to school, 5,895 gifts for the poor, build 1 library and many other practical supports for the poor. Since then, it has contributed to reducing the average annual poverty rate by 3.97%/year (previously poor districts have reduced by an average of 5.5%/year), the lives of people of all ethnic groups have been gradually improved...

Comrade Ha Thi Nga, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, acknowledged and commended the outstanding results in the Front's work of Dien Bien province achieved in the past term.

For the 2025-2030 term, comrade Ha Thi Nga suggested that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Bien province should thoroughly and deeply organize the dissemination, study and research of the speech of General Secretary To Lam at the first Congress of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central mass organizations for the 2025-2030 term. Because this is the guideline, the strategic orientation for the Front's work in the new period with the requirement of consistency in 3 guiding viewpoints, 6 key tasks; promptly update and concretize the core contents of the Resolutions issued by the Party Central Committee in recent times, the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term and the Action Program to focus on implementation, ensuring effectiveness and practicality.

Also at the Congress, Comrade Tran Tien Dung, Secretary of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, congratulated the achievements and results that the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the province have achieved in recent times. He approved 19 specific target groups and 6 action programs of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province for the 2025-2030 term.

Comrade Tran Tien Dung suggested that, immediately after this Congress, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee should focus on amending and supplementing the working regulations and assigning tasks to members of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; promptly develop and deploy action plans and programs to implement the Resolution of the 14th Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress and the Resolution of the 11th Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress, ensuring compliance with actual conditions and situations, contributing to the successful implementation of the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Party Congress.

Comrade Mua A Vang, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, 15th term, was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, 14th term, 2025-2030 term.

The Congress consulted and elected 111 comrades to the 14th Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, term 2025-2030; consulted and unanimously elected comrade Mua A Vang, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, term 15, term 2025-2030, to hold the position of Chairman of the 14th Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, term 2025-2030, along with 7 Vice Chairmen of the 14th Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, term 2025-2030.

The Congress also consulted and elected a delegation to attend the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026-2031, including 12 official delegates.
