Comrade Nguyen Doan Anh re-elected Secretary of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee

On the afternoon of October 15, the 20th Congress of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 continued its working program.

On behalf of the Presidium, comrade Nguyen Hong Phong, Deputy Secretary of the 20th Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, reported the results of the first meeting of the Provincial Party Executive Committee.

Specifically, at the first meeting, the Provincial Party Executive Committee elected the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Provincial Party Secretary, Deputy Provincial Party Secretary, Provincial Party Inspection Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Party Inspection Committee.
As a result, the Provincial Party Executive Committee elected 15 comrades to the Standing Committee of the 20th Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030. Comrade Nguyen Doan Anh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the 19th Provincial Party Committee, continued to be elected to hold the position of Secretary of the 20th Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee.

Comrade Nguyen Doan Anh, born on October 10, 1967, hometown Hanoi city; Member of the 13th Party Central Committee. He has a university degree in Command and Staff of the Combined Arms, and a senior degree in Military. He served as Deputy Commander, Commander of the Hanoi Capital Command, and Commander of Military Region 4. In November 2022, he held the position of Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army and was promoted to the rank of Senior Lieutenant General on October 20, 2024. On October 25, 2024, he was assigned by the Politburo to hold the position of Secretary of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

The first session of the Provincial Party Executive Committee also elected comrades: Nguyen Hoai Anh, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the 19th Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Hong Phong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the 19th Provincial Party Committee; Trinh Tuan Sinh, Deputy Secretary of the 19th Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to continue holding the position of Deputy Secretary of the 20th Provincial Party Committee.

The Provincial Party Executive Committee elected the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee consisting of 10 comrades. Comrade Pham Thi Thanh Thuy, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, 19th term, continued to be elected as Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, 20th term.

The 20th Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, elected an Executive Committee of 69 comrades; elected 33 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates to attend the 14th National Congress of the Party.
