Comrade Quan Minh Cuong re-elected as Secretary of Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee

On the afternoon of September 17, continuing the content and program of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Congress, delegates listened to a report on the results of the first meeting of the Executive Committee of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee, term XX.

Cao Bang Provincial Party Secretary Quan Minh Cuong, on behalf of the 20th Provincial Party Executive Committee, thanked the delegates for their trust.

Accordingly, the conference elected the 20th Provincial Party Standing Committee consisting of 15 comrades.

Comrade Quan Minh Cuong, Secretary of the 19th Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee, was re-elected as Secretary of the 20th Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee.

Three comrades: Vu Hong Quang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the 19th Provincial Party Committee; Le Hai Hoa, Deputy Secretary of the 19th Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Be Thanh Tinh, member of the Standing Committee of the 19th Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Cao Bang Provincial People's Council were elected to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the 20th Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee.

The congress elected 18 official delegates and 1 alternate delegate to attend the 14th National Congress of the Party.

According to the resolution, in the 2025-2030 term, Cao Bang province strives for an average GRDP growth rate of 10%/year or more; average budget revenue increase of 12%/year; and poverty rate decrease by an average of 3%/year or more.

Every year, the rate of party organizations completing their tasks well reaches 80% or more; new party members are admitted from 1,500 to 1,600.

By 2030, average income per capita will be from 75-80 million VND/person/year; 21 communes will meet new rural standards; 100% of border communes will have inter-level boarding schools.

Build a new provincial general hospital with 500 beds; have more than 90% of communes achieve a People's Happiness Index of 90 points or higher; the rate of people and businesses using online public services reaches more than 90%...

In his closing speech at the congress, Comrade Quan Minh Cuong, Secretary of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee, shared that the congress focused on intelligence, discussed enthusiastically, frankly, democratically and unanimously passed important documents.

The documents adopted at the congress were built with passion and intelligence, reflecting "the Party's will and the people's heart"; are a profound summary of theory and practice; identify 12 main goals, 3 key programs, 3 breakthrough contents and 6 major orientations, as pillars for Cao Bang's development model until 2030, with a vision to 2045.

The Congress determined that, on the new development path, the entire Party needs to continue to improve its leadership capacity and fighting strength; promote the strength of national solidarity; make the most of unique advantages, mobilize all investment resources for border gate economy , tourism... to create new development breakthroughs.

Cao Bang is determined to achieve a fairly good economic growth rate in the region; pay attention to social security, preserve and promote national cultural identity; expand foreign cooperation, ensure national defense and security, firmly protect national border sovereignty ; build Cao Bang to develop rapidly and sustainably, improve people's lives, and strive for happiness.

Immediately after the congress, it is recommended that Party committees and organizations at all levels disseminate and propagate widely throughout the Party, people and army about the congress results; study and thoroughly understand the congress resolutions and documents.

At the same time, urgently develop and implement specific, realistic and feasible programs and plans suitable to the conditions of each locality and unit, turning the strategic orientations of the congress into vivid reality in practice.
