In 2023, the Department of Home Affairs advised and organized the implementation of tasks in the fields of the Home Affairs sector to ensure timeliness, progress, and plans. Administrative reform (AR) advisory work continued to be strongly and resolutely implemented, mobilizing the participation of the entire political system. Related indicators on PAR had positive and clear changes.
The organization of the local political system continues to be improved towards streamlining, effective and efficient operation; the policy of streamlining the payroll continues to be maintained, contributing to the arrangement and restructuring of the staff, civil servants and public employees with positive results. State management of associations, beliefs and religions is carried out in accordance with the provisions of law. In the fields of work: Documents, archives; emulation, rewards; inspection, examination and handling of violations, there are many innovations, which are being effectively implemented.

In 2024, the Home Affairs sector will continue to review and advise on perfecting the organization and apparatus of the government to ensure streamlined, effective and efficient operations, in accordance with regulations and in accordance with the actual situation; and well manage the staff, civil servants and public employees. Continue to research and advise on the development of a project to rearrange district and commune-level administrative units in the 2023-2030 period of the province to ensure quality and efficiency, in accordance with regulations and in accordance with the actual situation. Focus on effectively implementing Resolution No. 05-NQ/TU dated September 28, 2021 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on promoting administrative reform in the province by 2025. Pay attention to doing a good job in the work of beliefs and religions. Continue to implement measures and solutions to innovate the content and methods of organizing emulation movements and reward work to promote the strength of the entire political system and all people to well perform socio-economic tasks, contributing to the successful completion of assigned targets and tasks in 2024.
Speaking at the conference, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the efforts and achievements of the Home Affairs sector in 2023; requested the sector to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, responsibility, thinking, creativity, accelerate, overcome shortcomings and limitations to effectively implement the tasks and plans set out in 2024. In which, focusing on a number of key tasks: Continue to coordinate with localities, departments and branches to review and rearrange the organizational apparatus, perfect personnel in accordance with legal regulations, ensuring effective operation. Coordinate well in implementing administrative reform; especially digital transformation, completing the goals of Project 06; focus on reforming departments, agencies and units that handle many administrative procedures for people and businesses. Focus on solutions to create sustainability for the province's administrative reform indicators. Pay attention to effectively implementing the project to rearrange district and commune-level administrative units in the 2023-2030 period of the province. Effectively carry out internal inspection and examination, administrative reform at agencies and units and report to the Provincial People's Committee to handle violations according to the law.
