On the morning of July 30, RT (Russia) reported that a tsunami warning was issued for coastal areas in the far east of Russia, as well as Japan, Alaska and Hawaii, after an 8.8 magnitude earthquake occurred off the Kamchatka peninsula.

Just hours after Japan issued an emergency tsunami warning, a strange sight occurred on the coast of Chiba: many large whales suddenly drifted ashore and lay motionless on the sand.

The incident was quickly recorded and broadcast live on Japan's national television channel NHK around the late morning of July 30.

Not stopping there, at noon on July 30, a video recorded by a resident in Newport Beach, California, showed thousands of seabirds flying chaotically in the sky like "a living tornado", giving many witnesses "goosebumps".

Not only in Japan and the US, the Antsiferov Island area in the far east of Russia on the afternoon of July 30 also witnessed a shocking scene recording dozens of sea lions panicking and fleeing from the rocks when a tsunami hit after an earthquake near the Kuril Islands.

In the context of many unusual natural fluctuations, experts call on people living in coastal areas or near seismic belts to be more vigilant.

Currently, a number of regional seismic and tsunami warning centers are continuing to closely monitor the situation.
