Energizing 220kV Duong Kinh transformer station

The 220kV Duong Kinh Transformer Station Project is invested by the National Power Transmission Corporation.

The project is built in Duong Kinh ward ( Hai Phong city) including 2 transformers with a total capacity of more than 310 MVA (photo provided by the facility)

At 0:05 on July 29, the National Power Transmission Corporation coordinated with relevant units to energize the 220kV Duong Kinh transformer station (Hai Phong City).

The project is invested by the National Power Transmission Corporation. The project is built in Duong Kinh ward (Hai Phong city) and includes 2 transformers (220 kV and 110 kV transformers) with a total capacity of more than 310 MVA.

Behind the 220kV transformer, equipment for 7 bays has been installed. Behind the 110kV transformer, equipment for 16 bays has been installed. The control, protection and measurement, communication and SCADA systems at the transformer station are equipped in accordance with the regulations of Vietnam Electricity Group.

The project builds two 220kV double-circuit lines, with a total length of about 260m, from Duong Kinh 220kV transformer station connecting to the existing Dong Hoa - Dinh Vu 220kV double-circuit line.

The project was put into use to contribute to ensuring the supply for the loads of Hai Phong city; reducing the load for existing 220kV transformers in the city area...

This is a project to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025) and welcome the 4th Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Electricity Group Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030.
