To meet the schedule for the commencement of the Ma Da Bridge Project in June 2025, the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance to appraise the investment policy and pre-feasibility study report. The Department of Construction was assigned to determine the route according to the most optimal plan.
The People's Committee of Vinh Cuu district is assigned to prepare documents to adjust the land use planning and complete land recovery procedures related to the project in June 2025. At the same time, complete the construction of resettlement areas for households affected by the Project.
Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee directed the Dong Nai Biosphere Reserve Management Board to work with the Vietnam National Commission for UNESCO, the Vietnam National Committee for the Man and the Biosphere Programme (MAB), and the UNESCO Office in Vietnam regarding the implementation of the construction of Ma Da Bridge and the connecting road because the project passes through Dong Nai Biosphere Reserve.
Previously, in mid-March 2025, leaders of Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc provinces had a meeting and agreed on the investment policy for Ma Da bridge and the connecting road between the two localities.
The project starts from Dong Xoai City (Binh Phuoc), following DT.753 route through Ma Da bridge to Dong Nai, continuing through DT.761 and DT.767 routes to connect with Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4.
Connecting routes include DT 753, DT.761 and DT.767 planned with a scale of 8 lanes but with reasonable investment phases in each phase. The land clearance part will be carried out once with an 8-lane plan.
The construction of Ma Da bridge and connecting roads between Binh Phuoc and Dong Nai is of great significance in promoting regional connectivity, creating momentum for socio -economic development for both localities.
