Outstanding results in the training and combat readiness work of Division 355 are: Awareness of officers and soldiers about training and combat readiness tasks has been raised; training content, programs, methods, competitions and sports events have been constantly innovated, going into depth, close to the subjects and requirements of actual tasks. 100% of officers are trained according to the hierarchy, of which 83.9% are good and excellent; the training test results of the subjects are 100% satisfactory, with 83.1% good and excellent (exceeding the set target by 3.1%). Arrangement of reserve soldiers into units by April 2025 reached 98.8% (increased by 3.8% compared to the target), 86.1% in accordance with military professionalism (increased by 6.1%) and 100% of technical equipment. Organizing exercises at all levels always completes tasks well and excellently. The SSCD duty regime at all levels is strictly maintained, ensuring readiness to perform tasks in all situations. To meet the requirements of training and combat readiness tasks in the new period, the Party Committee and Command of Division 355 determined that, first of all, it is necessary to promote education and propaganda work, build a strong political stance and raise awareness and responsibility of officers and soldiers about training and combat readiness tasks. Party committees and commanders at all levels continue to thoroughly grasp Resolution No. 1659-NQ/QUTW dated December 20, 2022 of the Central Military Commission on leadership to improve training quality in the period 2023-2030 and the following years; combat training directives and orders from superiors... The Division directed units to review and supplement leadership regulations and specialized resolutions on training work; specify training goals and tasks in weekly, monthly and quarterly plans and clearly identify implementation measures. Pay attention to doing a good job of educating and thoroughly informing soldiers to grasp the Party's viewpoints and policies on military, national defense, and Fatherland protection tasks in the new situation, creating unity in the entire Division in terms of awareness and action regarding training and combat readiness tasks; strengthening information about the situation, partners, targets, plots, and tricks of hostile forces; overcoming subjective thinking, distorted and vague perceptions, loss of vigilance, and fear of difficulties and hardships in training and combat readiness.

The Division continues to innovate the content, organization, and training methods to meet the requirements of the tasks in the new situation. In particular, it focuses on doing well the training preparation work, especially training and fostering cadres to have enough qualifications and capacity to train troops according to the hierarchy; at the same time, actively building, consolidating, and ensuring good training grounds, training grounds, and facilities for training. Strengthening the organization and improving the quality of competitions and sports, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere, striving to successfully complete training goals and targets.

The entire Division adheres to the training motto of "basic, practical, solid", attaches importance to synchronous and specialized training; actively applies science and technology and digital transformation to innovation, improving the quality of staff work, direction, management and training operations. Promotes the responsibility of the staff, especially direct training staff and young staff; takes training results as an important criterion to evaluate the completion of tasks of staff and units. Organizes training strictly according to the program for each subject, ensuring that soldiers exploit and skillfully use the weapons and technical equipment in the establishment, are good at independent and coordinated combat. Closely combine training with discipline training, improve physical strength and mobility; combat training with improving coordination, cooperation, skills in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, search and rescue; Strengthen situational training, close to the target, combat plan, organization and combat requirements in new conditions. Strictly implement the inspection regime, grasp the essence of training work, promptly point out and completely overcome weak points and weaknesses.

Another important content is the breakthrough in improving the ability to handle situations in combat readiness. On the basis of continuing to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the combat readiness orders and orders of the superiors, the Division directs agencies and units to strictly maintain the command, duty, and combat duty regimes. Regularly review and improve the combat document system at all levels, ensuring unity, strictness, and suitability with the development of the situation and mission requirements, as a basis for organizing training, practice, and exercises; improve the command capacity, combat coordination of cadres at all levels and the level and combat readiness ability of troops. Actively and proactively coordinate with relevant forces to grasp the situation, give correct and accurate advice, and promptly and effectively handle all situations, avoiding being passive or surprised. Closely maintain training in transitioning to combat readiness; attach importance to leadership and good direction of organizing drills, focusing on comprehensive tactical drills for platoon, company, and battalion levels; live-fire drills; one-on-one command-agency drills at two levels with live troops and reserve mobilization drills. Regularly maintain the number of troops, weapons, equipment, logistics and techniques for training and combat readiness tasks; prepare well the forces, means and materials to be ready to participate in preventing, combating and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, search and rescue, and successfully complete other sudden tasks to meet the requirements of the tasks in the new situation.
