Hoa Binh recorded positive signs in tourism activities in the first months of 2025, which is the result of strongly implementing a tourism promotion communication campaign during the year.

In the first 3 months of 2025, Hoa Binh recorded positive signs in tourism activities when welcoming nearly 1.7 million visitors, including about 236,000 international visitors. Total revenue from tourism activities reached 1,690 billion VND, up 6.3% over the same period last year and reaching 31.3% of the yearly plan. These positive figures reflect the strong recovery of the province's tourism industry in the context of promoting promotion, digital transformation and effectively exploiting cultural and natural strengths.

Bo Temple - Thac Bo Temple is a spiritual tourist destination not to be missed when visiting and sightseeing at Hoa Binh Lake.

One of the destinations that attracts many tourists when coming to Hoa Binh is the Vietnam Scientists Heritage Park (Bac Phong commune, Cao Phong district). The space here stands out with a field of 50,000 sunflowers, a love bridge, a book house, a butterfly house and modern check-in corners mixed with scientific and cultural elements.

Ms. Tran Thu Ha, a tourist from Hanoi, shared: “The space here is both modern and quiet, poetic. I am impressed by the harmonious combination of nature and culture.”

Meanwhile, Mai Chau Hideaway - a resort located in the heart of Hoa Binh Lake is chosen by many international visitors, especially during long holidays such as April 30 - May 1. Community tourism in Muong villages also left a strong impression. On the occasion of April 30 - May 1, Mo hamlet (Binh Thanh commune, Cao Phong district) opened the Culture - Tourism Week with many special activities such as: performing folk games, cultural exchanges, introducing cuisine and handicraft products.

Ms. Bui Bao Chieu - Deputy Director of the Mo Hamlet Tourism Cooperative said that the people are very happy because many tourists come to visit and stay. In order to welcome tourists thoughtfully, the Cooperative has carefully prepared everything from accommodation to experiential activities so that each guest can feel the friendliness.

Strengthen tourism promotion communication

The attraction of Hoa Binh tourism comes from the diversity of products and experiences. Visitors to Hoa Binh often choose types such as community tourism, resort tourism, traditional craft village tourism, sports, entertainment, health care... This is an important basis for the province to continue to orient the development of typical products, building brands associated with national cultural identity.

To achieve the above impressive results, Hoa Binh province has strongly implemented the tourism promotion communication campaign in 2025. In particular, coordination activities with central and local press agencies have been promoted. Hoa Binh also actively participated in events such as the 20th Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival, thereby expanding the coverage and recognition of local tourism image.

Along with communication work, the province also focuses on applying information technology in managing and serving tourists. The smart tourism information portal continues to be effective, providing complete and quick information to tourists. Destination management and tourism business management activities are also gradually digitized. In the coming time, Hoa Binh will deploy digital transformation content more widely according to the guidance of the General Department of Tourism to tourism organizations and businesses in the area.

Currently, the whole province has more than 50 eco-tourism and resort areas, mainly concentrated in Mai Chau, Kim Boi, Luong Son, Da Bac districts; along with nearly 20 strongly developed community tourism spots in Mai Chau, Tan Lac, Cao Phong, Da Bac. Tourism products are focused on improving quality, such as combining relaxation with health care, tourism associated with OCOP products, traditional craft villages, culinary tourism associated with cultural events...

The resonance of nature, culture and investment in product enhancement has helped Hoa Binh become the only representative of Vietnam to be voted by a prestigious American magazine as the most attractive destination in the world in 2024. This is the driving force for the province's tourism industry to continue to make breakthroughs, aiming for the goal of welcoming 4.9 million visitors and achieving revenue of VND 5,400 billion by 2025.
