Dak Lak women's startup project enters national finals of Women Startup Competition 2023

At the Central Regional Finals of the 2023 Women's Entrepreneurship Competition with the theme "Women's Entrepreneurship, Promoting Local Resources" organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union in Phu Yen province, 2 projects by women's union members of Dak Lak province won prizes.

In which, the project "Production and processing of tea products from coffee flowers to create jobs and increase income for female workers" by Ms. Bui Thi Kim Anh - Director of FARMFOOD Company Limited (Buon Ma Thuot City) won the First Prize; the project "Development of fermented cocoa water" by Ms. Nguyen Hong Thuong - Director of Nhat Tam Agricultural Service Cooperative (Ea Kar District) won the Encouragement Prize.

Ms. Bui Thi Kim Anh received First Prize at the Central Region Regional Finals.

With the first prize at the regional level, the project "Producing and processing tea products from coffee flowers to create jobs and increase income for female workers" by Ms. Bui Thi Kim Anh will continue to participate in the upcoming national final round.

The project "Developing fermented cocoa drink" by Ms. Nguyen Hong Thuong won the Encouragement Prize.

The 2023 Women's Startup Competition has 2,024 startup projects/ideas submitted by members and women nationwide, and 184 startup projects were selected for the regional semi-final round. Through the very serious and strict judging rounds of the Jury, 68 outstanding startup projects were selected to participate in the final round of the Regional Women's Startup Competition in the 3 regions of North, Central and South (32 projects in the North, 24 projects in the Central and 12 projects in the South) and notably, 6 of these projects are by women with disabilities.
