Weather forecast February 24, 2024: Cold rain in the North, sunny in the West

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, today (February 24), cold air has affected the Northeast, North Central and continues to affect other places in the Northwest. The wind inland has shifted to the Northeast at level 2-3.

The Northeastern region and the provinces of Lao Cai, Yen Bai , Hoa Binh, Thanh Hoa are cold. The lowest temperature in these areas is generally from 15-18 degrees Celsius, in the mountainous areas of the North it is from 12-15 degrees Celsius, in the high mountains it is below 11 degrees Celsius in some places.

Due to the influence of cold air, the Northeast and North Central regions have rain and light rain. The Northwest region still has sunshine in the afternoon.

At the same time, in the northern area of the Gulf of Tonkin, there are strong northeast winds of level 5, gusts of level 7, waves 1-2.5m high. The northeastern sea area of the northern East Sea has strong northeast winds of level 6, gusts of level 7-8, waves 2-4m high, rough seas.

In addition, the remaining areas across the country today will maintain sunshine; only the Southeast region will have hot weather.

Northwest

Cloudy, scattered rain and drizzle; Dien Bien and Lai Chau have rain in some places, sunny in the afternoon. Light wind. Cold at night and morning.

Lowest temperature: 18-21 degrees, some places below 17 degrees. Highest temperature: 20-23 degrees; in the Northwest region 26-29 degrees, some places above 30 degrees.

Northeast

Cloudy with rain and drizzle. Northeast wind force 2-3. Cold.

Lowest temperature: 15-18 degrees, mountainous areas 12-15, high mountainous areas in some places below 11 degrees. Highest temperature: 17-20 degrees.

Thanh Hoa - Thua Thien Hue
