It is forecasted that in the next 12-24 hours, water level on Cau River will decrease below alert level 3, Thuong River will remain above alert level 3, and Trung River will decrease below alert level 2.

The meteorological agency warned that in the next 24 hours, floods on the Luc Nam River (Bac Ninh) and the Thai Binh River (Hai Phong) will continue to decrease, below alert level 1. However, flooding in the provinces of Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, Lang Son and the Hanoi city area is likely to last from 1-3 days. The risk of riverbank erosion, landslides on steep slopes and weak dykes remains high. The flood disaster risk level is warned at level 3.
