Estimated expenditure to support the Lunar New Year of the Horse for workers in difficulty

QNgTV- According to plan, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor will visit, give gifts, and wish a happy new year to union members and workers in difficult circumstances and with low incomes.

Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, presented gifts to workers in difficult circumstances after the storm and flood in Thai Nguyen .

Specifically, the delegation will visit, give gifts, and wish a happy new year to union members and workers at enterprises and units (in industrial parks and export processing zones) with outstanding production and business results, many workers in difficult circumstances, heavily affected by natural disasters, remote areas, and arduous, toxic, and dangerous occupations.

The expected support level is 1.3 million VND/person, including 1 million VND in cash and 300,000 VND in kind gifts. The implementation cost will be disbursed from the regular operating fund at the General Confederation level.

In addition, the program "Union Tet Market - Spring 2026" will be organized directly to provide essential, quality goods and services at preferential prices, giving away shopping vouchers, giving away products at "0 VND", discounts, organizing cultural and sports activities, giving gifts, legal advice, health advice, providing medicine, changing motorbike oil for free... for union members and workers.

The program took place in a direct format organized by the General Confederation of Labor in a locality with a large number of workers and laborers.

In addition, the General Confederation supports some southern provinces and cities such as Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Tay Ninh to organize buses, trains, and flights to take workers home to celebrate Tet in the Central region such as Ha Tinh, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa and the North.
