Although it was only established in July 2024, the Windy Hills Homestay tourist destination, managed by Homesmart Service Investment and Development Limited Company (Cau Den residential group, Thanh Hai ward), has attracted a large number of domestic and foreign tourists to visit and experience. Here, the enterprise has built an attractive entertainment service system. The advantage of this area is that it is located on a high hill, surrounded by thousands of lychees that are cared for by local people according to VietGAP process to ensure food safety.

With a garden entrance fee of 20,000 VND/child, 40,000 VND/adult, visitors can visit the large lychee garden, during harvest season they can experience fruit picking; swimming in the pool; enjoy traditional dishes of the local people. In particular, there are rooms for families or communities with a capacity of 30-45 people/night.
Ms. Truong Thi Hanh, Director of Homesmart Service Investment and Development Company Limited, said: “There are days when the company welcomes 200-300 visitors; revenue reaches about 70-80 million VND/month. At this time, the company has been contacted by many travel companies in Hanoi , Quang Ninh, Hung Yen... to book places to eat and stay for guests during the lychee ripening season. We have hired more service staff, built some check-in points, and organized new and attractive experiential activities to serve tourists.”
Ms. Tran Thi Nhung, Head of the Department of Culture, Science and Information of Chu town, said that along with the fruit garden, the town also has many historical relics and scenic spots such as Khanh Van Temple, Ha Temple, Am Vai Pagoda; Khuon Than and Bau Lay lakes with many wild and attractive landscapes... creating diversity and richness for tourism products. Promoting that advantage, the local government has paid attention to promoting the consumption of agricultural products associated with experiential tourism. Fruit ripening season tours are organized more and more professionally, attracting a large number of tourists from inside and outside the province.
Diversified tourism products
From 2023-2024, tourism activities in Luc Ngan district (old) will develop and grow strongly, with the number of tourists visiting all year round. Each year, the locality welcomes 650-700 thousand visitors, an increase of 400-450 thousand compared to 2022. Revenue from tourism activities is estimated at 80-90 billion VND. After separating the administrative boundaries of Luc Ngan district (old), tourism activities in Chu town continue to be maintained and developed. Since the beginning of the year, the locality has attracted about 170 thousand visitors to visit, have fun, experience, and explore culture, nature, land, and people; estimated revenue is nearly 20 billion VND; the number of visitors to the town is forecasted to continue to increase in the upcoming lychee season.

It is known that Chu town has more than 7,100 hectares of lychee, this year the lychee crop promises to be a good one. Currently, the government, people and businesses are urgently preparing for the lychee tourism season.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Manh, Vice Chairman of the Town People's Committee, in order to attract tourists to the locality in the coming time, the Town People's Committee is focusing on promoting, advertising, promoting and stimulating tourism development in 2025 with many specific activities such as: Organizing seasonal tourism programs (lychee flower season, ripening lychee season, orange and grapefruit season), in which from May to July, it will focus on connecting travel agencies to organize experiential tourism activities, harvesting lychee. At the same time, participating in fairs, activities to promote lychee consumption, and tourism promotion organized by the province, departments and branches.

Following the town's direction, specialized agencies are surveying and building a list of cooperatives, beautiful gardens, production according to VietGAP, GlobalGAP, organic processes, convenient transportation systems; friendly and hospitable owners... to build tourist spots and tours. Organizing training and guiding garden owners, cooperatives, and accommodation establishments in experiential tourism skills; committing to local authorities to ensure attentive and professional service, creating a good impression on tourists.
Research and organize some sports tournaments (marathon, soccer, pickleball); organize seminars, competitions, and performances related to fruit growing areas; coordinate with press agencies to create videos, clips, images... to contribute to promoting tourism and spreading the image of Chu town's homeland.
Promote the application of information technology in tourism promotion, effectively exploit applications on social networking sites (Youtube, Fanpage, Google Maps, Zalo), SMS service messages, create QR codes containing basic information about the town's tourist attractions posted at tourist sites, restaurants, motels, and public transport to help visitors look up information quickly and conveniently. Areas and tourist attractions with many visitors will also have their internet infrastructure and wifi coverage upgraded. The town will support some equipment, propaganda banners, signboards, etc. for gardeners and cooperatives.
Together with the local government, cooperatives and tourism service groups also proactively design programs, create unique features in their tourism products and send them to the Department of Culture, Science and Information, Department of Agriculture and Environment for synthesis, supplementation, comments, and formation of effective tours. Currently, the town has 10 enterprises and cooperatives operating in the tourism sector; about 30 accommodation establishments and many restaurants, cafes...
Some units have completed programs for sightseeing, experience, photography, lychee picking, and lychee sculpture competitions; organized team building in the garden (including fun activities, experiences, and accommodation at the garden); processed food and drinks from lychees. Organized cultural and artistic activities combined with introducing information about the land, people, and typical local products.
