Arriving at LamSon Farm Moc Chau, Dong Sang Ward, when the grapes were in harvest time, we were really impressed by the rows of straight grapes laden with fruit. Many tourists arrived quite early to visit, take photos and cut their own bunches of ripe grapes to bring home as gifts. On average, on weekends, this place welcomes about 2,000 visitors to visit and experience grape picking in the garden.

Coming here, my family and I can freely experience the feeling of cutting ripe bunches of grapes, enjoying the slightly sour, sweet, juicy taste of grapes and taking beautiful photos. In addition to enjoying grapes in the garden, I also bought some grapes as gifts for friends and relatives.
LamSon Farm Moc Chau vineyard owner shares how to plant and care for grapevines with tourists.
While instructing guests on how to cut grapes and introducing the farm's vineyard, Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet, the farm owner, informed: Currently, the farm has more than 1 hectare of Black Summer grapes for harvest 2 crops/year, the first crop from late May to mid-July; the second crop from October to December. To make the vineyard beautiful, we have invested in installing a roof and an automatic watering system to ensure appropriate humidity, regularly pruning and caring for each bunch of grapes.

The model of growing black grapes combined with experiential tourism , thanks to which most of the grape products are purchased directly by tourists at the garden for 200,000 VND/kg. Tourists often buy in large quantities as gifts, causing garden owners to sometimes not have enough goods to sell.

Realizing the need of tourists to experience fresh agricultural products, the family of Mr. Le Dinh Khoa, owner of Thao Nguyen vineyard, residential group 19/5, Thao Nguyen ward, has opened its doors to welcome visitors. Mr. Khoa shared: My family currently has more than 2,000 m2 of grape growing, the trees have been planted for 6 years, yielding more than 8 tons of fruit/season and consumed right in Moc Chau town. Anyone who comes to the garden chooses the most beautiful bunches to buy as gifts, thanks to which the grapes are consumed right in the garden.
