On the roads, Long Thuan Commune Youth Union, Thu Thua District planted many trees for shade and seasonal flowers.

Long Thuan Commune Youth Union, Thu Thua District, Long An Province maintains 4 flower routes, creating green highlights for the rural appearance, of which the most prominent is the route along Provincial Road 817. Implemented from December 2023 with a length of 2.5km, the flower route starts from Muong Dao Bridge to Rach Chua Bridge. On the route, the Commune Youth Union planted 500 yellow trumpet trees, 50 pink trumpet trees, 40 cow's hoof trees and 150 purple-flowered Lagerstroemia trees. During the flower season, the brilliant colors create a lively space for the main traffic axis of the locality.

Secretary of Long Thuan Commune Youth Union - Cao Tuan Cuong said: "After completing the flower planting on Provincial Road 817, the Commune Youth Union maintained care, monitored the condition of the trees and promptly planted additional trees affected by the hot weather and not growing. In addition, the Commune Youth Union also coordinated with the Commune Police to build security and orderly lighting routes , install security cameras and coordinate with the Commune Farmers' Association to deploy a model of classifying plastic waste and pesticide bottles on the roads".

In Hiep Hoa commune, Duc Hoa district, the model of building flower roads continues to spread with the active participation of union members and young people. Receiving support from the District Union, more than 50 union members contributed to improving the landscape, collecting waste and planting flowers such as cosmos, chrysanthemums, etc. along many roads. The colorful flower roads not only bring brilliant colors to the roads but also demonstrate the proactive spirit of joining hands to preserve a civilized and clean living environment of local youth.

Secretary of the Hiep Hoa Commune Youth Union - Nguyen Van Nhut said: “In 2024, the Commune Youth Union will deploy and implement 2 projects under the motto "The State and the People work together" including the Bo Thanh Extension Road and the rural traffic route in Hoa Binh 1 Hamlet with a total length of more than 1km, total cost of more than 1.7 billion VND. After completing the concreting, the Commune Youth Union will continue to organize flower and tree planting along the roads to create a green, clean, and beautiful landscape, contributing to the construction of an advanced new countryside".

In addition, Hiep Hoa Commune Youth Union also regularly maintains 40 solar lamp posts that the District Youth Union mobilized to install in 2022. Aiming at the goal of building advanced new rural areas and welcoming Party congresses at all levels, the Commune Youth Union planted more than 500 Thai Lagerstroemia trees and 10 lotus pots along the canal along the road to create more green space for the locality.

Mr. Nguyen Hoang Tam (Hoa Binh 1 Hamlet, Hiep Hoa Commune) excitedly said: “Previously, both sides of Bo Thanh Extension Road were overgrown with weeds, which was not pleasing to the eye. Since the organizations cleared the land and planted flowers, the road has become cleaner and more spacious. People in the village who pass by feel happy. We are also more aware of maintaining hygiene, proactively watering and taking care of the trees and flowers so that they grow well.”

The flower roads built by the Youth Union members gradually change the appearance of the countryside, contributing to building a green, clean and beautiful living environment.
