Railways increase passenger trains on routes during National Day holiday September 2, apply ticket discount policies.

Vietnam Railways Corporation said that the railway has increased the number of passenger trains on its routes to meet the high travel demand of passengers during the National Day holiday on September 2 this year.
Accordingly, on the North-South railway line, trains such as SE1/SE2, SE3/SE4, SE5/SE6, SE7/SE8, SE11/SE12 (Saigon - Hanoi), SE21/SE22 (Saigon - Da Nang), SNT1/SNT2 (Saigon - Nha Trang), SPT1/SPT2 (Saigon - Phan Thiet), SE19/SE20 (Hanoi - Da Nang), HD1/HD2, HD3/HD4 (Hue - Da Nang), NA1/NA2 (Hanoi - Vinh) will run regularly every day. In addition, trains will be organized to run from Saigon station to Nha Trang, Quy Nhon stations and vice versa, from Nha Trang to Da Nang and vice versa, from Hanoi to Quang Binh and vice versa.

Specifically, on the Ho Chi Minh City - Quy Nhon route, train SE30 will run from Saigon station to Quy Nhon from August 29 to September 2, 2024; train SE29 from Quy Nhon to Saigon station from August 30 to September 3, 2024. On the Ho Chi Minh City - Nha Trang route, from Saigon station to Nha Trang, train SNT4 will run on August 29 and 30; train SNT8 on August 30. From Nha Trang to Saigon station, train SNT5 will run on September 2 and 3, 2024. On the Nha Trang - Da Nang route, train SE42 will run from Nha Trang to Da Nang from August 30 and September 1, 2024; train SE41 from Da Nang to Nha Trang from August 31 and September 2, 2024. On the Hanoi - Dong Hoi route, train QB1 and train SE17 will run from Hanoi station on August 30; Train QB2 departs from Dong Hoi station on September 2 and 3, 2024. In the Northern region, on the Hanoi - Lao Cai route, train SP7 will depart from Hanoi on August 30; train SP8 will depart from Lao Cai station on August 31. On the Hanoi - Hai Phong route, trains LP9 and HP3 will depart from Hanoi station; trains LP10 and HP4 will depart from Hanoi station; and train HD2 will depart from Hai Duong station. During the September 2 holiday, the railway will still apply a regular ticket discount policy for social policy beneficiaries such as: Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, war invalids, people with disabilities, the elderly, children, students, union members, passengers with customer cards, etc. In addition, when purchasing round-trip tickets, passengers will receive a 5% discount on return tickets for individuals and a 7% discount on return tickets for groups of 20 or more people.
