PSG beat Bayern with 9 men. Early morning of July 6, PSG defeated Bayern 2-0 in the quarter-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup.

Speaking after the 2-0 win over Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ early on July 6, coach Enrique shared: "Musiala was unfortunately crushed by Gianluigi Donnarumma's leg. Injuries in top-level sports are normal. PSG has no bad intentions. We are not a club that likes violence or fouls."

Musiala suffered a serious ankle injury after a collision with Donnarumma. According to Bild , the German star suffered a broken left fibula and multiple ligament injuries and is expected to be out of action for four to five months.

PSG were reduced to nine men at the end of the match, with defenders Willian Pacho and Lucas Hernandez sent off late in the second half, but the UEFA Champions League winners held firm against Bayern's pressure.

Coach Enrique said Pacho deserved to be sent off after fouling Leon Goretzka. Afterwards, the Spanish strategist also praised the fighting spirit of the remaining players on the field.

With the win over Bayern, PSG advanced to the semi-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™, where they will face Real Madrid on July 10.
