“Equinox” will recreate the image of Roman “war gods” on the runway.

With 23 outfits, the collection “ E quinox” was created by designer Thanh Huong Bui and her colleagues right after the success of “ Manifeste ,” at Shanghai Fashion Week SS26 in mid-October.

Inspired by Greek mythology and the image of Roman horses, the designer expresses a strong yet seductive and luxurious spirit through neat and sharp shapes, delicate horse motifs and bold signature cuts.

With “ E quinox,” the designer aims for the image of a woman who is strong but delicate, liberal but controlled. Therefore, she carefully selected the model to convey the “soul” of the design.

Thanh Huong Bui expressed: “E quinox is my transformational collection . Therefore, I need models with their own charisma, story and decisive style. The model needs to show the spirit of intersection : strong but still soft, sharp but not harsh .”

“ For me, a model does not only need to have ideal height, professional catwalk skills or attractive beauty. What is more important is confidence, courage on stage and especially the ability to understand and perceive the designer's intentions and the message of the collection. The model is an important bridge, helping to convey the fashion story more deeply and widely to the public.

With such strict requirements, to prepare for the collection launch event on December 13, Thanh Huong Bui shared that she has officially started casting models for “ E quinox” through 3 performances. Many models impressed with their confident steps and clear body discipline, while others conquered the judges with their unique personalities and unmistakable beauty.

Sitting in the “hot seat” of the casting session were designer Thanh Huong Bui, supermodel Vo Hoang Yen, supermodel Hoang Thuy, catwalk director Nha Truc, and director Hoang Nhat Nam. The judges said they paid special attention to the contestants’ ability to connect with the stage, camera angles, and performance space. Director Hoang Nhat Nam even asked the contestants to “try again” several times to evaluate their flexibility, in order to find the most suitable face for the show./.
