Skillful mass mobilization to build a livable countryside

BAC NINH - Over the past 10 years, from a purely agricultural village with many difficulties, Thanh Lam village, Hoang Van commune (Bac Ninh) has risen to become a livable countryside. This result is thanks to the village doing a good job of mass mobilization and promoting the emulation movement "Skilled mass mobilization".

Comrade Nguyen Van Tinh, Secretary of the village Party Cell, said: “Thanh Lam village Party Cell has 20 party members. In recent years, propaganda and mobilization work has been paid attention to by the Party Cell, included in the annual leadership resolution and considered as the task of the entire political system. Thanks to that, Thanh Lam achieved the new rural village title in 2015 and became the first village of the commune to achieve the title of model new rural village in 2020.”

Thanh Lam village road is invested in construction and expansion.

It is known that the village currently has 340 households, about 1,650 people. To create changes in economic , cultural and social life, the village Party Cell focuses on building and maintaining models, typically "Skilled People's Mobilization". Notably, the replication and improvement of economic efficiency from the model of growing water celery and raising fish fry. With the participation of the entire political system and the consensus of the people, Thanh Lam has formed a specialized water celery growing area, with 99% of households participating in production, bringing in revenue from 1.3 - 1.4 billion VND/ha. Or like the model of "Skilled People's Mobilization", in the period of 2015 - 2024 alone, Thanh Lam people contributed up to 6.5 billion VND and 1,200 working days. Thanks to this resource, the village solidified 1.5 km of canals; renovated and built 4.5 km of rural roads and 3 km of intra-field roads. In particular, main roads and alleys are equipped with lighting systems. Many roads are planted with flowers and shade trees on both sides.

Not only paying attention to material things, Thanh Lam village also aims to build a rich spiritual life for the people. In 2007, the village cultural house was built with 2 solid floors. Thanks to good mobilization work, the village opened many more items such as: 5 volleyball courts, mini soccer field, gym. In 2016, 2019 and 2023, the village communal house, pagoda and temple were invested in construction with a total value of about 3.4 billion VND. Currently, the village maintains regular activities of more than 10 clubs, from physical exercise, folk dance, arts, volleyball to specialized clubs such as gender equality and family happiness.

With smooth concrete roads, colorful flowers, green vegetable fields and many high-rise buildings, Thanh Lam has truly become a livable countryside, a typical model in the heart of the revolutionary homeland of Hoang Van.
