The Vietnam - Japan Local Cooperation Forum 2025 is expected to take place from November 23 - 26, 2025 in Quang Ninh province with a series of large-scale foreign affairs, economic and cultural activities, attracting the participation of hundreds of delegates from ministries, central branches and localities of Vietnam and Japan.
Within the framework of the Forum, there will be more than 100 activities connecting and working between the parties. A Vietnam - Japan local exhibition will also be held with more than 40 booths displaying typical local products of Vietnam - Japan and an area for cultural exchange and experience between the two countries.
Immediately after being assigned the task, Quang Ninh province issued a plan, a master plan and assigned detailed tasks to each relevant department, branch, locality and unit. At the same time, closely coordinated with the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Department of Cultural Diplomacy (Ministry of Foreign Affairs); discussed with Japanese partners to complete the content of the Forum program.
The provincial departments, branches and sectors have worked seriously, actively and proactively to prepare for joint activities and bilateral meetings between Quang Ninh and Japanese provinces, cities, organizations and enterprises; promptly updated requests from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Japanese side; and ensured the progress and quality of preparation work.
The province has also carefully prepared for the main activities of the Forum. Including the Vietnam - Japan Local Exhibition and the cultural exchange space hosted by Quang Ninh province with 37 exhibition booths and 5 Vietnam - Japan cultural exchange spaces. Quang Ninh province's exhibition booth at the Exhibition was built with the theme "Quang Ninh - Cultural Convergence, Tourism Shining", combining many modern display solutions such as projection screens, QR codes for document lookup, identification light boxes and highlights of tea ceremony performances, folk paintings, introduction of OCOP products, tourism.
In addition, a special Vietnam-Japan art program was also hosted by Quang Ninh province with the theme "A 90-minute symphony of Vietnam-Japan friendship" on the evening of November 24 at the Vietnam-Japan Labor Culture Palace.
In addition to the main program, the province also coordinated to implement: Art program to welcome the opening session of the Investment Promotion Conference (November 24); folk music program at the Welcome Party (November 25); performances introducing Vietnamese - Japanese culture performed by Ha Long University; field trip activities...
Along with that, actively coordinate to organize the Vietnam - Japan Investment Promotion Conference with the participation of 10 leading enterprises in the field of smart tourism. Security, safety, health, and food hygiene and safety plans are also guaranteed at the highest level for all delegations.
Through the Forum, Quang Ninh hopes to continue to introduce the image of a province with rich development potential, a modern tourism - service - industrial center; at the same time, expand the cooperation network, attract high-quality investment, promote cultural and tourism exchanges, contributing to deepening Vietnam - Japan relations in the new period.
