EVNHANOI strives to promote people to use electricity economically

In recent days, employees of Hanoi Electricity Corporation (EVNHANOI) have frequently used loudspeakers on motorbikes and cars to run along the streets and alleys to propagate and call on people to use electricity economically.

Workers of Hai Ba Trung Electricity Company carry out propaganda work using loudspeakers in shifts, usually during peak electricity consumption hours: from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. every day.

Ha Dong Electricity Company uses cars with loudspeakers for propaganda.

Along with using loudspeakers, employees also went to stores to call for turning off unnecessary electrical equipment such as LED lights, decorative lights, large billboards, and adjusting air conditioner temperature from 26-27 degrees Celsius or higher to save electricity.

Every business is encouraged to turn off unnecessary equipment such as billboards.

Turning off lights and unnecessary electrical equipment during peak hours is a very meaningful action at the present time, thus receiving the support of many customers.

In addition to broadcasting propaganda and calling on people to use electricity economically, groups of workers also increase inspection and review of connection points on the grid to promptly detect the risk of overload. When signs of overload are detected, workers will immediately handle and share the load to help operate the power system safely and stably.
