The first Lai Chau amateur piano festival

(BLC) - On July 29, Lai Chau Piano Center organized the first amateur Piano Festival.

Attending the Piano Festival were comrades: Dinh Trung Tuan - Provincial Party Committee member, Director of the Department of Education and Training; Tran Dinh Tien - Vice Chairman of Lai Chau City People's Committee; leaders of Lai Chau City Department of Education and Training and the participation of judges who are famous artists such as: Doctor, People's Artist Thanh Ngoan - former Director of Vietnam Cheo Theater; Meritorious Artist Kim Loan - Permanent Deputy Head of the Vietnam Mother Goddess Cultural Preservation Club (Center for Research and Preservation of Vietnamese Beliefs) and a number of musicians and students with good expertise in music .

The first Lai Chau Piano Festival had the competition of nearly 50 contestants, divided into 5 groups A, B, C, D, E according to age. The youngest contestant was born in 2017. The contestants played on a Grand piano with international standard sound.

This is an opportunity for students at the Center to interact and demonstrate their abilities, helping them become more confident in life. Piano helps students develop comprehensively in terms of physical beauty and spiritual beauty.

Representatives of the Green Stars Skills Development Center (Lai Chau city) presented gifts to the candidates.

At the end of the first Lai Chau Amateur Piano Festival, the Jury awarded 11 first prizes, 18 second prizes, 6 third prizes and 10 promising prizes. Based on the results of this Piano Festival, Lai Chau Piano Center will select and agree with parents to create conditions for their children to participate in the international Piano competition called Grandlegend International Piano 2023 which will be held in mid-August.

It is known that Lai Chau Piano Center is a non-professional piano training facility in Lai Chau city. The center was established with many years of dedication of musician, teacher To Van (music teacher at Doan Ket Secondary School (Lai Chau city), member of Vietnam Musicians Association, Vice President of Lai Chau City Literature and Arts Association). Over the years, the Center has helped generations of students develop their talents, many of whom have successfully passed the entrance exams to professional art schools.

The Center accepts to train many students with different ages, abilities, strengths and has training methods suitable for each student. Every year, the Center connects with training facilities in Hanoi, Thua Thien Hue and other provinces and cities to organize for students to participate in performances, exchanges, learning and knowledge improvement.
